I-O Data has just released the BRP-U6C which is a portable Blu-Ray disc player. It is capable of reading quad-layer and triple-layer (Blu-ray XL) discs at 4X speed, the drives read single and double-layer Blu-ray discs at 6X speed, and BD-RE at 2X. The drive supports DVD±R and CD discs with reading speeds up to 8x and 24x. The drives are bus-powered and comes in 3 color options (Red, Black, and White). The I-O Data BRP-U6C Blu-Ray player will retail for around $139.
