HP is always creating revolutionary new products to keep tech addicts hooked. Their latest offering is an exciting new version of the much used and allegedly obsolete desktop except that this one is particularly jazzy. It is called the Spectre One and the company is very happy to announce its various features that make it a product must-have.
HP has also made public the idea that they will somehow include the name Spectre in all of their high end devices. The Spectre One has a display of 23.6-inchs and its design and outlook are very impressive and stylish. It also includes NFC technology; no questions asked.
With this particular desktop it seems that the maximum of HP’s emphasis has found its way into the appearance of the product rather than its actual worth and usefulness. This supposed technological ‘wonder’ does not have many features that many good laptops do contain.
As far as appearance goes, the frame of the Spectre One is aluminum and its 1080p display tilts which is quite pleasing, aesthetically. The word on the town is simply that certain features are missing because the length of the desktop could not be allowed to be more than 11.5 mm. The features that are sadly not included are an optical drive, a touchscreen and a TV tuner.
HP has taken a massive risk with this one but they seem unaffected as they bet greatly on the positive response of customers who value appearance more than impressive features.  Considering the features that are there, there is a lot to choose from.
There is an Ethernet jack, HDMI input, about 4 USB ports (very useful as a couple are also 3.0), and beats audio as well. What’s more is that the desktop offers one memory card reader, and you can choose to have discrete graphics. Also, you can effortlessly get all the components serviced. The keyboard that comes with the desktop is also an impressive device on its own.
It is a wireless touchpad that is made on the design of the Magic Trackpad. HP shows no signs of slowing down as many other product launches are there along with Spectre One. Pavilion 20, Envy 23, and Envy 20 are all high tech devices HP has announced recently.
